Mutchmeats was established in 1981 by the Mutch family and it has grown from humble beginnings into a multi-species abattoir, processing beef and lamb for the discerning customer.
Mutchmeats is based in Witney, a thriving market town, set in the Windrush valley at the foot of the Cotswold hills. This area is home to some superb farms, to which Mutchmeats would procure some of their stock.
Wholesale trade is managed by the sales team, and with over 50 years combined experience in the meat industry, they will be able to help with any enquiries. Mutchmeats currently supply from London to Wales, Dorset to Birmingham, but with larger Wholesale orders we have delivered further afield and where we can't deliver ourselves we can outsource our deliveries. With our fleet of purpose built hanging rail vehicles, we are able to deliver anywhere in the country, volume permitting, whilst ensuring the product arrives in the best possible condition. Because of the numbers involved, we are confident that we can supply what you need. From a 16 kilo ‘butcher’ lamb to a 25 kilo ‘cutting’ lamb, we have a huge variety available each week. This also applies to beef where we pick only the best livestock to give our customers the grades and specifications that they deserve. We stock a large range of boxed Beef products as well as bone in products. Our bone in Beef products are handpicked by the sales team to suit each customers requirements so just let the team know and they will be more than happy to help.

Private Kill is managed by Richard, who is a fully trained Butcher with nearly 40 years’ experience in the industry. Richard has worked for Mutchmeats for over 20 years and is a key member of the business, providing an excellent service to farmers and smaller scale producers, requiring slaughter and butchery of their livestock. The butchery team can ensure that your orders will be cut to an agreed specification to the highest possible standard.
